In addition to outreach materials for K-12 educators and our North Carolina Film Festival (free and open to the public), the Consortium offers many other resources about Latin America and the Caribbean. These include: A Film Library (searchable by country, director, and themes) with over 600 titles, language training in 6 different languages of the region and FLAS scholarships, world class library acquisitions and expertise at both Duke and UNC campuses, the New Roots digital archive in Spanish and English that contains the oral histories of Latin Americans in North Carolina, and a growing collection of works by Latin American authors which have been translated and published by both the UNC and Duke University Presses.
